Many of us have found that Twitter is an invaluable way of reading and distributing news–instantly. Even some of the most conservative government agencies are sending out instant messages to which anyone with a Twitter account can subscribe. The Oregon Department of Forestry’s Southwest Oregon District is now tweeting fire information. Further detail can be found on the district’s blog.
