Wildfires in Greece

“Holidaymakers” is a term that you sometimes see in the European media when the perennial wildfires force vacationers in the Mediterranean countries to abandon their plans and seek other areas for relaxation. That is what happened on Saturday in the Attica region southeast of Athens when two fires chased out holidaymakers and forced the evacuation of three children’s summer camps.
