BLM NIFC video slide show – firefighters

Posted on Categories Uncategorized

The Bureau of Land Management at the National Interagency Fire Center has put together a video/slide presentation designed for individuals with a short attention span who don’t like to waste a lot of time analyzing an individual photo in depth. I’m not sure, but I think it may contain quite a few excellent photos… but I can’t be positive. What do YOU think?

  1. Haha I really liked the pictures and the song was a good pick too. I do wish they had slowed down the progression of the pictures though because I always enjoy seeing what other firefighters are doing. Great idea though! 🙂

  2. There were some very good photos. I’m sure many of the pictures came from point and shoot cameras, but darn good for them. But with some more editing work keeping the same song it could be more than just a nice show but a very good one. Some of the best photos are by the firefighters on the line.

Perhaps they could hire Ms. Brown from Everglades to work with it.

How often to they send out talented pro’s to take pictures on the fire line just to take photos?

  3. Great photos, would have like maybe a little longer on each to get more than a mere impression. I guess the rate of change was linked to the beat of the music, so maybe a waltz instead of a quickstep would have been better.

  4. Excellent photos, speed could be slowed just a tad but a great visual show just the same
