  1. We are patiently waiting on a call also down here in Florida ….. looks like Any other year but worse for California I hope everyone a safe trip when and if there resource order arrives

  2. Could anyone direct me to a description/legend for the various areas ( particularly in California) indicated on these fire and drought maps? They don’t follow county lines, so assume they follow geographic features, such as Owen’s Valley in California. Thanks.

  3. Like the video of the 2015 fire season. All of us wildland firefighters in Louisiana we are ready to go help on the fires out west.

    1. Donald this is my fifth (50) fire season. No previous years has ever shaped up like this fire season here in California. Never have I seen such a prelude to disaster. Yesterday afternoon light wind 50-70% SW slope 1000 foot elevation abundant GREEN grass under story, slicked off the brush, 14 acres. That is a sign!
