Here are a few photos I took today at the prescribed fire going on yesterday and today in Wind Cave National Park.
While yesterday was primarily devoted to black-lining the project, that is, burning a buffer adjacent to the fire line around the perimeter, today they were able to burn a great deal of the interior.
By 1:00 p.m. it was putting up a significant smoke column.
More photos and information about the project are in yesterday’s post.
