We are very honored that Wildfire Today was nominated for Fire Blog of the Year, and also made the cut to be one of the seven finalists in the election going on now at FireCritic.com. There were 42 blogs nominated for two categories, Fire, and EMS. We thank our supporters who nominated us, and also thank the judges who selected the finalists for the election.
Anyone can vote to determine the Fire Blog of the Year, and the EMS Blog of the Year. The voting period began this morning and will continue until 2359 on February 1. The ballots are posted HERE. You can vote for one Fire and one EMS blog every six hours. So as they used to say in Chicago, “vote early and often”.
Glad you made the list, due in no small part to the quality of your stories and very good pictures.
Thanks BMorgan.
Thanks Dick, Mike, Mark, and Sherry. I appreciate it and am very humbled.
I couldn’t agree more with the others, Bill – Wildfire Today is informative and interesting, an excellent site indeed!
Congrats Bill, well deserved!! It is an excellent site!
I’ll be voting for Wildfire Today and encourage others to do so as well.
Bill – well deserved! I hope everyone that reads your “Blog” passes the word to others in the wildland fire community to cast their votes.
