A rather bizarre story comes to us out of Mexico. Three teenage volunteer firefighters who were reported missing on May 25 while working on a wildfire in the southeastern Mexican state of Quintana Roo were located on Monday, May 30. The boys, who are 17, 16, and 14 years old, were found by their fathers and neighbors who followed their tracks into the jungle and “located them with the help of a cell phone”. More than 200 people were involved in the land and air search for the missing boys, who were found about 6 miles from the nearest road.
At the last report, searchers were trying to find a clearing where a helicopter could land in order to evacuate the boys to a hospital.
