  1. THANKS FOR THE SINGLE MOST COMPREHENSIVE AND INFORMATIVE SITE FOUND TO DATE ON THE BASTROP FIRES. WHAT I WOULD APPRECIATE IS AN EXPLANATION OF THE VARIOUS COLORED CIRCLES, I AM ASSUMING CIRCLES WITH CROSS HATCHES ARE CONTAINED FIRES, CIRCLES WITH RED ARE ACTIVE FIRES UNCONTAINED AND ORANGE IS FIRES STILL WITH POTENTIAL TO FLAREUP.THOUGH PARTIALLY CONTAINED.

  2. I found this website to be very helpful in tracking the progression of the Bastrop/Smithville, Texas fire. I live outside of Smithville and the maps on this site were very helpful. Thank you.
