I am not sure that many know this but tanker pilots (fire bomber pilots) are some of the most skilled pilots in the world. They do as much training and have as much if not more experiance as the blues and the birds in the low level enviroment. Unlike the military flight teams they shy away from the press and hate to be on camera. Same goes for the lead plane pilots, helo and seats. I for one are glad to see them get together and have the news cover it.
