Up untill I joined the fire dept. I had no idea that smoke was fuel. The blast overpressure from a smoke explosion in a modern lightweight construction home could bring the whole thing down on firefighters working inside, if the blast did not get them first. If I ever get to build a new house I am going to build it out of rough cut 2×6 fir.
