While the extreme fire weather conditions in southern California have eased, Red Flag warnings have been issued for the northern part of the state until 4 p.m. on Saturday for north winds at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, and humidities of 10 to 15 percent. A Red Flag Warning is also in effect for an area in eastern Texas.


The Red Flag Warning map above was current as of 11:08 a.m. MT on Saturday. Red Flag Warnings can change throughout the day as the National Weather Service offices around the country update and revise their forecasts. For the most current data, visit this NWS site.
