That is a pretty comical photo of the 3/4″ hose coming out the back of that engine, ha ha! But I sure am glad to see they are being smart with their water use!

It wasn’t Waldo canyon it was high park and lower north fork. His name was Mike Mayer and he is out in the general pop again. Amazing what mommies and daddies mo wy can do.

I like the two photos of the tree before and after falling. If you only saw the first one, you would think “what hazard”. Seeing the burn scar on the other side shows why it had to come down and why you always size up all sides of a tree before falling.

Right, Jim. At first I was thinking “recreational felling”, until I walked around and saw the burn scar on the other side. And it was right next to a building, or at least the remains of a building.

Thanks Drfire. It’s nice to know that someone else thinks latrines in the right setting can be, uh, not so awful to look at.

Don’t I remember something about someone impersonating a firefighter on the Waldo Canyon fire and stealing a bunch of supplies. I guess the PD was just checking.

The cops are not getting anywhere near the glory the Firefighters are. Guess they were mad.
