1. If you look close those counties not showing any, or very little CalFire activity, are the 5 contract counties that provide their own fire protection. (Marin, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties)

2. Is it true that were zero fires in all of Kern County so far this year? That seems unlikely to me.

   1. Yeah and the 2 counties SW of it. Very strange indeed.
