This video released today by the White House features fire chiefs from around the country talking about how climate change impacts wildfires and their communities.

Yes, its a good video but the executive branch releasing a video and publicizing a problem compounded by climate change and then turning around and recommending a budget reduction for an organization charged with fixing the problem is a bit of a non sequitur.
Just looking to see a little more consistency between what is said by the executive branch and what is done by the executive branch.
No we can’t have it all but its probably time to balance department/agency responsibilities and tasking [an executive branch function] with budget recommendations [an executive branch function].
The administration that released this video is the same administration that proposes reducing the USFS 2016 budget by $130M.

How about expected tax revenues and deficit reduction?
How about Congress that really passes budget proposals?
