A fire in Martin County, Florida burned 136 acres Sunday night and early Monday morning before firefighters stopped the spread at 3:21 a.m. near Fox Brown Road.
Wildland firefighter Dave Grubich took these excellent photos from inside a firefighting dozer building containment line.
One of the challenges the dozer operators faced on the fire were the wet areas, and avoiding becoming mired in the mud.
Below, burning embers carried through the air created new fires, spot fires.
