I personally know at least 3 of the ladies in this, had one on our department for a time, I would be proud to be on a crew with them.
Also cool that this was filmed in our hometown, in my backyard
Some of the best crew people I had the pleasure of working with on fire were women. They knew their stuff, were more than willing to learn more, and they were tough when they needed to be when it dropped in the pot. A tip of the hard hat to these ladies from an old retired engine boss!
Well done! It would be great if this was shared with school counselors/advisors, scout leaders and others helping young people make good choices in life.
A salute to the women involved and to REI.
Nice job ladies and REI
