1. I like Capt. L.D.’s idea.
   In Montana people are kinda touchy about fireworks and fires in the summertime, but they do pull out all the stops for New Year’s Eve. One the best fireworks shows I ever saw was New Year’s Eve in Montana — at my neighbor’s house across the road. He was the Undersheriff. 😁

2. Make it legal for New Years Eve only, no sales no exceptions. Then push for jail terms to stop it on 4th of July ! Simple

3. Well said, every July 4th in Boise ID it is like a war zone in the subdivisions from illegal fireworks. On a calm wind night the sulphur stench from all the sky rockets is so bad a person does not want to be outside.
