Great to see CalFire spending more money on equipment they will stage and not use. When will the CA taxpayers realize they are getting ripped off by CalFire. Staging type 1 engines, having strike teams of structure firefighters that cant comprehend cup trenches and chain files is ridiculous. Calfire needs to get away from all the shiny badges and hotels and focus in suppression tactics.
