A television station in Sacramento, ABC10, has recently produced several videos 8 to 13 minutes long about the wildfires in California. We will be showing you a few of them over the next couple of days.
The example below is about the Eldorado Hotshots, and features a former military sniper and another who initially received his fire training as a member of an inmate crew.

Just finished watching this El Dorado Hotshots video you posted… Simply awesome! The videography, the narration, and most of all the men interviewed… What an eye opening experience… And like their experiences, made real by this video, one I won’t likely forget either…

When I think of the Eldorado Hotshots, I think back to Supt. Barry Callenberger who I thought of as a very calm, soft spoken thinker. Paul Musser who’s DNA can be traced back to a neanderthal mountain goat, who had a 5:00 o’clock shadow half an hour after a close shave. Greg Keller, who somehow, could always find something to grin and laugh about, and craved the telling of a funny joke. Preferably on the ribald side. All great people that contributed much to the IHC program as it is today. Hats off to all of the crews.jw
