  1. Why do Americans have the flap on the helmets up all the time?. Is it orders, historic , annoying ??? stupid question but all ways wanted to know. We have ours always down and have never thought or had the need to have it up like the photo.

    1. Alot do it because it is more comfortable that way and to keep cool. When embers are going everywhere or its needed to keep off the radiant heat then we put it down.
