The #firefight continues in #Duarte/#Azusa, where your #LAFD AirOps works alongside our partners from @lacofireairops and many others to do our part in helping to quell the #SanGabrielComplexFire. #FishFire #ReservoirFire. ?: Landon Jensen | 6.20.16

On the road again. This was our drive into the Sherpa Fire near Santa Barbara, California. Not much can explain that feeling of seeing the column being putting up by the fire you about to go to work on for the first time.

Another awesome shot from Alaska. These jumpers are on final to do cabin protection. Many times in remote areas in Alaska, jumpers are used for point protection. This is to protect certain values at risk while not spending large amounts of money or putting many other firefighters at risk in order to suppress massive fires. ?: @mayorj
