Alternative. Leave out the sugar, cloves, cinnamon, lemon, water, and nutmeg, and just combine the bourbon with an inexpensive mixer, like ice. Sit down and relax. It’s not a hot drink on a cold night, but you’ll you’ll get a warm feeling thinking about all the labor you avoided.
