Forest Service gets back into the night flying business

After 33 years, the U.S. Forest Service has gotten back into the night flying business. As of June 1, there is a night flying helicopter and an air attack fixed wing aircraft based on the Angeles National Forest, and by the end of this week they will be ready to initial attack fires at night in portions of the four national forests in southern California.
