The Governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem (in camo pants), posed with personnel from the state’s Wildland Fire Division.
Thanks and a tip of the hat go out to Jill.

She is quite the Governor.
(This is how you know she *really* cares).
What is she doing to materially improve the lives of those folks?
Right now, $15.76 per hour and seasonal employees are paid only for hours worked, like contract crews.
A whopping 60 cents/hr bump is available for EMT or CDL certification.
Treating firefighters like props for PR and reelection flyers.
Yes, she should have no problem getting re-elected.
Thank you Governor for showing Respect to your employees who protect the Great State of South Dakota !!!!
Photo op, for?
Wow!!! She pays her “valued firefighters” $15.76/hr. Yeh, she really cares.
Don’t blame the Governor…blame the State Civil Service system pay scale that can’t keep up with today’s scales of economy
BUT….Some States civil service pay beats GS3-5 in some cases
The best Governor
