  1. Wow!!! She pays her “valued firefighters” $15.76/hr. Yeh, she really cares.

    1. Don’t blame the Governor…blame the State Civil Service system pay scale that can’t keep up with today’s scales of economy

      BUT….Some States civil service pay beats GS3-5 in some cases

  2. Thank you Governor for showing Respect to your employees who protect the Great State of South Dakota !!!!

      What is she doing to materially improve the lives of those folks?

      Right now, $15.76 per hour and seasonal employees are paid only for hours worked, like contract crews.

      A whopping 60 cents/hr bump is available for EMT or CDL certification.

      Treating firefighters like props for PR and reelection flyers.
